If you’re a podcast fan like me you may have hundreds of podcasts episodes in your iTunes queue. I currently have 610 of unplayed video and audio episodes. I know it’s a bit too much, but I’ve been pretty busy lately.

PodcastVideo is one of those apps that you realize you need it only after you’ve used for a while. As the name suggests, the app keeps your video podcasts organized. I know, you’ll remind me that the native “Videos” app was designed just for that. Well, PodcastVideo may be considered a much better choice, considering a few details that the devs have added, among other features:

– you can play only the audio

– you can set the forward/rewind timing

– multiple playback ratio.

One other thing I like is “gesture controls”. Ok, it’s not just one, there’s 5 of them.

1. “left->right” : Forward

2. “right->left” : Rewind

3. “down->up” : half times speed increase

4. “up->down” : half times speed decrease

5. “2 Fingers Tap” : Play / Pause

6. “Double Tap” : Change Aspect Ratio
