Have you ever seen those FAIL Driving videos on YouTube? Sure you did. The russians are the best :)

Anyway, you know you can record the same videos. You never know when you’re gonna need the proof that… it was not your fault.

You can spend $100 on a stand alone camera, or just get Car Camera DVR and use the iPhone you already have in your pocket. There are a few features that make this app a very useful one: you can record videos in 640×480 or full HD, you can embed data overlay like the time, speed and heading and you can also record the audio.

One of the little things I like about it is that older videos are overwritten by new ones so you’ll never run out of space. Sure you can share or export videos if you feel like you wanna keep a good one that will make you famous online. Here’s a short video.
